All those who love Lexar memory cards had better stock up!

Re: Lexar to be discontinued.

That's a real shame as I am also a fan. I recently purchased 4 of their 1,000x 16gb cards for the em1mk2.
Kind regards Mike

Re: Lexar to be discontinued.

It'd be nice for the price to drop back to where they were a year or so ago, I paid 20 for 64GB 1000x from Amazon. Same ones hit 30 and now nearer 40 last time I looked. I'd buy more despite the manufacturer pulling out of market.

Re: Lexar to be discontinued.

Indeed bad news not least because competition will be diminished. Looking around my desk I suddenly realise how many of their cards I have. (BTW who produces Transcend - I have a few of their 64GB too)?

I've not used them myself but I know a chap called "iso" who has a few, you could ask him.

Alternatively have a look at this.https://www.ephotozine.com/article/t...ted-2017-17827

Regards.

Re: Lexar to be discontinued.

Hi, I have always preferred Lexar compact flash and SD and have never had any problems whatsoever,
But I have had problems with Sandisk, and have had to use their recovery system twice. Albeit with the same size 16gb cards.
Kind regards Mike.
Ps I have not had a problem with the lexar/em1mk2 either. But there were reports a while ago.
