Can we take it that you'll be posting some shots of the frozen sea at Whitehaven today, then? We've lost the snow (such as it was) and ice now; looks like a nice Spring day here...

I am not aware the harbour has frozen which it does as it is mostly fresh water

There was a photograph of it in our morning paper, with someone walking his dog across the ice (brave or stupid...?) The accompanying text said that it had a narrow entrance, IIRC, so it was more fresh water, therefore froze more readily.

So there's a nice little project for you Alf!

I have stood on that spot to take photos it is a small beach so no bravery just ice washed up on the shore. An interseting visual trick though.
