Sharing some photos of European Rollers from the same trip as the Bee-eaters. This species is wary and will vanish if they suspect human presence. I finally managed to find a few locations offering photo opportunities of their courtship behavior.

Your trip certainly yielded some excellent results Tord. These are some more beautiful behavioural shots of spectacular birds. The feather detail in numbers three and is terrific. Thanks for posting.

Panasonic 12-35, 15. Samyang 7.5 fisheye. Laowa 7.5.
Assorted legacy lenses, plus a Fuji X70.

(I've always thought that rollers' necks were brown, as in Albrecht Durer's painting:
