Calendar creation software?

Any recommendation for calendar creation software, using your own images, please?

Re: Calendar creation software?

I used Photobox for this years calendar. They have various formats to choose from. I'm pleased with the quality for price. Ordered mine when they had a two for one offer. I'm sure other online prints do similar products.

I've downloaded them from this site, they're really easy to use. She uploads the the templates some time in November.

It has become a 'tradition' over the last few years that I give one to my sister for her birthday. I use Photobox, their A3 Wall Calendar is, I think, excellent and as Derek says get yours prepared and be poised to pounce when the 2 for 1 offer arrives

I have made calendars in MS Word before. Much cheaper than Photobox. Only A4 though.

Re: Calendar creation software?

Tracey and myself do something slightly different for the grand parents each Christmas.

One of our local craft shops does a number of different styled blank calendars which have a blank area to insert your creativity.

What we do is then print a number of images (normally 7 x 5's) at home and usings some sticky photo corners holders mount the photos. This way at the end of the year the grand parents can take out all of the images from the calendar and keep them.

It may not look quite as professional as the fully printed versions, but the grand parents love it as it's homemade.

Regards

Simon

Yes, I did 6 A3 Photobox calendars last Christmas as they had a deal on, which even applied to my many different designs. I was generally pleased, the quality of the paper and general look and feel are good, but the blacks in the pictures didn't come out quite as black as I intended, plus they were not as sharp as I would like. I would use them again, but I would preprocess the files with the above in mind.

I cannot disagree with you Pete. As I recall, I don't have one myself but give them away, they are half tone prints using the same technology as their Photobooks. The lack of intense black and sharpness is probably inevitable. My sister though has never shown anything other than great enthusiasm but then perhaps she is just being polite

I have ceased to buy their photobooks for this very reason since trying a Cewe Photo Paper Photobook the quality of which astounded me.

Re: Calendar creation software?

Photobox offer on already! Thanks for the heads up. I agree there blacks and sharpness on the calendars isn't the best, but I think the calendars are still good value for money. Especially 2 for 1.

Re: Calendar creation software?

I have just ordered two Calendars and two Diaries from Photobox, who I use a fair bit and think are reasonable in terms of quality and value for money.

I gave a diary last year as an Xmas pressy and it was a real hit so doing it again. The calendar is something new I'm trying.
