WTB Tamron 500 SP

Is there anyone out there who has a Tamron 500 SP gathering dust that they would consider parting with.

Re: WTB Tamron 500 SP

There are a few on ebay, I'm thinking about trying one myself.
Has anybody here got one?
I would like to see some shots with it.

Re: WTB Tamron 500 SP

Hi, I have got one and had a brief play on the E-500 when it was my only Oly body.
I did find it a bit hard to get a good focus with an F8 lens and a small viewfinder. I've not really played with it for a while and didn't keep any of the test shots I did, but I would suggest that this review HERE is well worth a read.

I understand that the Tamron 350mm mirror is a different beast altogether and is highly regarded; hence the much hight price on ebay.
Have a look HERE

There is of course always the Russian options, some of which can be researched on the same site.

I've got a Tamron 350mm SP lens, but not used it since getting a Zuiko 50-200mm.

There are three current5ly on the SRS website http://www.srsmicrosystems.co.uk/c/3...-2-Lenses.html
Two are 99 and one is 109. You will need a mount which they also have for 7.
