Re: Four-third kit for sale

Hi Paul,

While initially enthused by the idea of adding the 150mm Zuiko to supplement my M.Zuiko 300mm f4, I have been re-evaluating my needs... and have reluctantly come to the decision that it is too heavy to be a reasonable alternative to my present M.Zuiko 40-150mm f2.8 zoom. Although it is a stop faster and certainly an excellent lens, I doubt that I would be prepared to carry it far enough often enough to be able to justify the cost of adding it to my collection. And I do not want to risk insulting you by making an offer based on its value to me

Best Wishes,

Chris

Re: Four-third kit for sale

I understand that the 150mm F2.0 is the highest quality of the Zuiko Super High Grade line up. I've only ever heard the highest praise of it.

Re: Four-third kit for sale

This time last year I might have been interested, but now I have a M4/3 camera I feel any lenses I buy in the future should be for that camera.

150 f2

One thing I will say about the 150 F2 and why I would maybe consider one if I wasn't a S*ny fan at the moment is:

The 150 F2 is a tremendously versatile lens, especially if you carry a 1.4x and 2.0x converter with you.

Then it can be used as an (equivalent to):

300 F2
420 f2.8
600 F4

It's super-sharp, bright and the image quality doesn't seem to noticeably deteriorate when used with the converters. You just have to feel like carrying it and preferably use a monopod/tripod or a camera with good built in IS.

I sold mine for a criminally low amount of money but everytime I see one for sale I feel kind of tempted....

Re: Four-third kit for sale

I'll take the 70-300 if it's still available.

Ok, getting in late to the party on this. Is the 12-60 still on offer?
