Total newb

Hi, my cousin left me a Olympus E-M10 II and though I was thinking of a decent camera I didn't expect to get hold of anything like that

Will search for advice and experience here. Thank you for having me!

Will

Re: Total newb

Welcome indeed

You've been given a very capable camera and a great way into a system that you can add to if you want to

There is lots of help here already, but don't be afraid to ask if you can't find it

Regards
Andy

Re: Total newb

Will Welcome - but where do you come from camera-wise. And what type of pics do you go in for. I am a recent newbie to Oly stuff, having taking snaps for 60+years. I do have to say, that great as the Oly concept is, it's a bugger to get to grips with. Keep in there.

Hi and thanks for the warm welcome!

Well actually I almost come from nowhere. I've been using Canon PowerShot SX430 IS for the last 7 years or so. Took pics on vacations, mainly architecture and sceneries. Want to shoot people more (sorry, sounds terrible )
You at least have some serious experience, imagine what it is like for me Though maybe it will be easier for me cause I'm like a tabula rasa and have no previous knowledge/habits to change. We'll see!
