I may be missing .......................

Got a serious fault on the laptop, the screen pops and goes all white and nothing will work then. Into the repairers tomorrow, hope I will not be away too long

I hope he's not away THAT long!

Good luck, David, in getting it fixed quickly and cheaply!

Re: I may be missing .......................

I've had a similar problem on my 2008 Rodney and Dellboy laptop. If you have an nVidia from a few years back, it was, in my case down to cheap solder. Sent mine away and it was back inside a week, good as new and with a 6 month warranty, £80 inclusive of door 2 door courier service. After 5 years without a problem I was sort of atached to it. Not too expensive and certainly cheaper than buying new.

Hope you get if fixed.

Re: I may be missing .......................

Lots of " Tut, Tut Mnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!" in the repairers so not much hope at the moment,
Popped into the local " Cash C0nverters" and lashed out 35:00 for this tiny Samsung Notebook so I don't get withdrawal .
They are talking about 10-14 days for the big boy at the earliest.
