Little I can suggest to improve these as they look pretty darn good to me especially that first shot. Maybe just blur the background a bit more?

Re: Cosplay- Rainie.

Soften skin pores a little as they are to sharp but leave skin texture in there so as to not make it look plastic looking.

Clean up eye whites (especially the red veins) and brighten eye iris's a little.

In the second one blur the background more and take the people with white shirts out.

Or replace background if you are up to it, sorry could not resist playing, quick and dirty background replacement not to be taken seriously.

Re: Cosplay- Rainie.

WOW Paul..Now I really got to learn that background replacement technique.

I use to enjoy that portrait enhancement tool in Viewer 2 Or was it Olympus Master but Oly seems to have removed it from Viewer 3.

These new cameras are so sharp and the details too stunning, I sometimes wish to go back to my film days of using that Vaseline on filter to smooth out the pictures.

Let me play around and see what can be achieve at my lowly level.

To true and especially if using the super sharp 45 and 75mm for head shots like
I do even the most flawless skin needs a little softening.

Re: Cosplay- Rainie.

Very nice shots to my eye, maybe a little light on the eyes. She has very nice large pupils and a little "catch light" would improve things.

Re: Cosplay- Rainie.

1) I tried that backgraound replacement, .... Think I made things worst.
I tried using that Corel Paint Shop Pro. I had it for years since getting it with compliments from a forum. Never learn to really use it.

2) How to add catch light in a photo??

In my opinion the first one does not need it after my edit as it is already there in the eye.

If you want to add a catch light duplicate the image as a layer use a round soft edged brush and white paint and dab one in,then change the opacity of the top layer to make it look natural.
