Spirit Island, Maline Lake

Taken on a recent visit to Canada. Maline Lake is in Jasper National Park.

A much-photographed location but I was pleased with these, helped by an unusually early snowfall.

That's because very little looks better in B&W .... especially nature.

The water really is that blue. It's to do with the presence of rock flour from glaciers.
