It was taken from "The Cloud" National Park. Its a hill just east of Congleton.

Never mind the plane and the telescope, that's a fine looking viaduct in the centre of the pic!

Lovely rolling green countryside, possibly just what we have in mind when we think about Middle England.

Great view!

I visited Jodrell bank years ago, when camping in Yorkshire. It's a great place, but really too from Herts. for a day visit.

Blimey I am going to have a lie-down.

If anyone wants a challenge then look up "The Gritstone Trail". this hilltop is towards the end of it. The trail is way beyond my hiking capability these days but it offers some superb views of Cheshire and The Pennines.
