  • NEVER Lend Your Camera to Your Daughter!

At Mokoan Wetlands we spotted a flock of parrots foraging at the roadside. Having just been "DONE" by Sandra, now my daughter rubbed it in!
They were on Tina's side of the car so I handed her the E3 and she shot this through the open window - sheer beginners luck I say!

"Wetlands" is something of a misnomer as presently there's not a drop of water to be seen in this eerie place.

The grasping 'bones' of a forest graveyard reminds us of our folly.

You will just have to up your game, Mark!

Tina caught those parrots in a perfect pose.

Looking on the bright side... you can always say your daughter had a good teacher.

      AH! but which one?
It's not what inspires us that is important, it's where the journey takes us.

Two irrefutable statements of fact, John.

Now in that there's some consolation to be had, Wally.

But note: Tina's mother isn't Sandra, it's Janette who was in her day before dementia a talented well known Melbourne artist. Tina is very much like her mother.

G'day Tina. No, I don't take any notice of him either.

It's good to see you on here & I love your bird shot.

I like number 1, the contrast of the bright colours of the birds against the Browns of the grass and grey of the wood they are sitting. Also nice is the group of three - always seems that a group of three is far asthetically pleasing than two or four..
