Wrinkled Crust Phlebia radiata

This emerging colony was on a piece of rotting, but still bark-covered, twig on the ground. The link shows an image of a mature colony.

The first image was shot in the field, the others on my return home but on the same day.

First image: Olympus EM-1, (aperture priority), Olympus 4/3 50mm f2 macro, f10, sunlight, hand-held.

Close-ups: Olympus EM-1 (manual mode), Laowa 25mm f2.8 2.5x-5x ultra-macro at x2.5, f11, triple TTL flash hand-held. FOV 7mm wide.
