18-150 ll Purple Fringing Why?

Walking in our local woods today I visited a friend of mine, an old and much damaged oak tree:

I was using my EM1 Mk1 and 14-150 ll lens. It had a Hoya HMC UV filter and the Olympus lens hood.

I was very surprised to see this extreme purple fringing at the top right hand side of the frame.

I have had this as a rare experience with a Fuji lens, but never seen it on any of the many Olympus lenses I own or have owned.

It is only on one shot and no signs of it on any other.

Any ideas how/why this happened please?
