If you're finding you get good results from your E-510, stick with it. It's still a good camera, just lacking in some of the useful bits that evolution has put on subsequent models.

The "kit" lenses aren't as bad as a lot of people make out, although the 50-200 is stellar if you need that sort of focal length regularly.

If you shoot raw and process in Lightroom 3, noise, in my opinion, is no longer an issue.

However, the E-620 is a super camera to handle but be aware that if you have spare batteries for your E-510, they won't fit the E-620.

Oh, and yes, the E-620 does take advantage of SWD!
