I have to agree re the quality of the photographs

I was walking around some stalls at a local Christmas fair at the weekend and nosed into a couple of photo stalls. One I admired, I could see real skill and nicely executed printing and mounting, the other well let me say I could have done as well on the photography and certainly displayed them better for sale.

So have been thinking about what makes a "professional photographer" and I have come to the conclusion that >90% of it is just having the confidence to put your work for sale and declare yourself as such. In that I do not demean the high number of very capable people out there doing an excellent job, they need to have that confidence as well but you can go a long way with one, but not the other
