Re: Idea for a comp.

Here's my take. I've gone to town on the red trousers as they seem to be in fashion at the moment. On a more serious note though, all the corrections were done on OV3 as I thought most people would be familiar with this. I started with correcting the horizontals and verticals using the tilt, parallelogram, trapezoidal, and lens distortion tool (there was a bit of curvature in the path). Then I dealt with the look and feel of the picture setting the raw processing to vivid, changing the white balance by clicking on the lock bar, and then using tone correction, saturation, and contrast, highlight and shadow lifting and then exporting as a jpeg. I didn't like the left hand trees so I ignored the rest of the picture and redid all my colours so the trees matched the exported jpeg. I then exported this as a new jpeg and merged the two jpegs in elements with a simple mask; although a cut and paste job in paintbrush would be equally as effective as I was only replacing one bit in one picture with the same bit from another.

I might try the whole thing in elements12 if I get some more time to see if I can do any better.
