Thumbs up Re: Thinking of buying a 70-300mm Zuiko

Hello & Welcome.

The 70-300 is a brilliant lens, so much so that my 40-150 is now up for sale and if I really needed the 40-70 range I can bolt on a 1.4x to get there. Ok so it's not super fast at focusing, but those of us that learned on manual lenses can often out shoot the AF guys simply by going manual & using the right techniques to get the shots we want.

The bonus is the "macro" focus capability and the switch for Manual Focus. There are some folk (Barr1e) who use it far more than me and to much greater effect.

Both the sellers you mention are ok. As are most on ebay with a good rep...

Have fun with it and do please show us the results
