Re: Gone all the way

Panning with birds in natural environments has never given me any noticeable rolling shutter, but it is a different story with buildings around.

This frigate bird was one of several diving down after some scraps thrown in the Carenage Harbour in Grenada this year: it was taken with the Mii and 12-100 at full extension, and the birds were really flashing by. Bendy houses are quite obvious, and I now avoid electronic shutter when there’s anything in the background that might show this - I think you’ve got to be panning really fast, though.

Too much Oly gear.
Panasonic 12-32, 12-35, 15. Laowa 7.5.
Assorted legacy lenses, plus a Fuji X70 & a Sony A7S.
