Arcyria stipata at High Magnification

This is the same species as in my previous post. That featured only one habitat image and no close-ups. Here, I show the colony and close-ups but with no habitat images. The colony was loaned to me to photograph in October. It was found in a wood about an hour's drive from the one posted previously.

The stalks are very difficult to see but their presence or absence are critical in identification keys. The final image shows some of the exposed capitillium, the spore-bearing network.

Olympus EM-1 (manual mode), Laowa 25mm f2.8 2.5x-5x ultra-macro at f8 or f11, triple TTL flash hand-held.
