Phil, love to see some more of your butterflies . Depends what sort of suggestions you would like. If you are having trouble with them because of the heat then the best suggestions will be to look early and later in the day. They may well be roosting on grasses or stems or under leaves, then they will bask in the early sun to get up to temperature. After that they might get very flighty.....During the heat of the day, on jungle tracks, look for mud puddles as they will come down to take on liquid and chemicals from soil to enable them to mate and reproduce. Some puddles will be very much more popular than others. Look for a lot of activity and stay a while...

I am not at all jealous that you have over 500 species of butterfly in kenya good luck to you. And there is a butterfly centre in Nairobi (or was) which will give you some easy practice.
