Re: Communal flowers, trees, plants and fungi thread

Stable Recyclers

We recently tipped out some fresh stable manure onto our garden, where it lost much of the excess moisture it had when in a plastic bag. About a week later, some small mushrooms (no more than 5mm across the caps) had grown. The pleated shape of the caps indicates species of the general type "inkcaps". I'm not sure how many species there are, Their appearance sometimes changing considerably during growth. However, the white-stemmed one with grey caps must be different from the brown stemmed ones.

The angles I could get were limited, as disturbing the substrate to much would topple the mushrooms.

Olympus EM-1 (manual mode), Olympus 4/3 x2TC, Olympus 4/3 50mm f2 macro, triple TTL RC flash.

The stereos are crosseye.
