Re: wex photographic trade in bonus 520

I think you will find that is not a guaranteed trade-in price but an example based on what they consider to be a camera in Grade 9 condition. They will give a definite value when they have inspected your camera properly.

I thought my camera was in very good condition but they spent over an hour inspecting it and then assessed it as Grade 8. As I was also trading in an unused HLD-7 grip the total trade in allowance with the 200 bonus was acceptable to me.

I didn't want to keep the E-M1 MkI, as I know that I wouldn't use it when I had the new camera and it would sit in a drawer and deteriorate and lose value. WEX have got a lot of used Mk Is and they seem to be priced at around the 400 mark, so I don't think I would have got a lot more selling it privately, when the 200 is taken into account.
