A Very Poor Show!

At a whole bunch of 11s on 11 November 1918, the fighting part of World War I came to an end. The Treaty of Versailles was signed the following year.

The Brisbane City Council has known for 100 years that the Remembrance Day commemorations of 11 November 2018 would be significant.

This past weekend, it was announced that the "Restoration and Enhancement Project" in ANZAC Square in Brisbane wouldn't be completed by 11 November 2018, but would probably be completed in early 2019.

This morning, on my way to work, I took some photos of the current state of the project:

They had 100 years to plan this project and they still couldn't get it right.
