Re: Is your registered email address up to date?

Ummm. Found an email from Ian in my junk folder from 25th July titled "Olympus UK E-System User Group site changes" even though I have had no trouble with such emails in the past.

It took me ages to work out how to change the microsoft server side outlook junk settings as it appears you can't do it from the default windows 8.1 email app (stupid fullscreen thing that deserves to be shot) but have to log into a browser based email client from the windows account login page and go to the option page.

As it turns out there are only 2 junk settings and I was on the least cautious so I had to add Ian to the list of approved email senders. Further reading of the junk option shows that if someone (anyone!) marks an email as junk then microsoft can use this information on a global basis to mark all emails from that user to any person/destination as junk to avoid other users seeing what some people class a junk.
