GDPR only really applies if you're holding databases with people's personal details in them. It's targeted at business, not individuals. I really don't think GDPR has an impact on private photographers.
A bigger impact on photography IMHO is the burgeoning movement of what we think of as public spaces into private hands with the likely heavy curtailing of our right to do things in those places (including taking photographs).
