Re: Which hood for Olympus M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 40-150mm 1:4.0-5.6 R

Thank you Dave. I certainly wouldn't pay Olympus prices, so will definitely go for a JJC alternative!
Mind you having read my rather rambling thread starter, I'm not really making myself clear!
The official number of the type of lens hood for the M.Zuiko 40-150mm is 61D as shown in your links Dave. However I already have the petal shaped 61C which is not the officially correct hood for the lens, but does fit, and leaves the lens looking quite neat.
My question really is this. Is it OK to use the petal shaped 61C for the M.Zuiko 40-150mm (which I already have a JJC copy of), or is there a reason why I should buy the correct cylinder shaped hood, the 61D?
Sorry if I confused you Dave, and I hope I've made myself clearer this time round.
I'm afraid I've taken some pain killers, and I'm feeling rather woozy, and why I never take them during the day unless absolutely necessary.
Thank you Dave for taking the trouble to reply. It is much appreciated.
