It doesn't even vaguely look like a tree! What's the point?
But - I read somewhere or other that they've put one like that up in Bournemouth, because a real one might fall over and hurt somebody!
Does anybody else remember having real candles in little clip on holders in their trees when they were little?

Don't know about town Xmas trees but wife and son saw one in a shop the other day that was black and upside down i.e longest branches at the top.
