If you have got this far then I hope you are not unhappy.
This beauty was in my local wood - Salcey Forest http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=salcey+forest&sll=53.800 651,-4.064941&sspn=12.348397,33.903809&ie=UTF8&filter=0 &ll=52.148659,-0.833931&spn=0.012508,0.033109&t=h&z=16

This type is one of the hawkers that come and have a look at you. Fly at head height to about six feet away, maybe three or four times, decide you are OK and then go off to their favourite spot to perch.
I was lucky with the sun, the perch and got focus about right. I am sure someone will be annoyed by the angle and the stray grass but it was hard enough to get it to stay still for this. So I was pleased.
best wishes
Peter
