Chris, there is a setting in one of the menus to set which stabilisation takes priority, lens or camera. I can't get to my camera just now so can't be more precise - sorry!

Surely the 'tilt' is the lie of the land; remove that and the house will look like it is falling over? The house and its chimney looks vertical to me.

The dial on the side of the lens limits the focus distance; you need to twist it towards the 1:1 setting and release to get a true macro shot

This Roe Deer didn't see or hear Mij and I approaching and carried on feeding until another dog walker came along the path.
Taken in the local woodland at Drumnadrochit....
