You can get torches that do not flash my LED lenser P14 has no flash mode. Those high speed flash modes are generally seen as being for defence.

I suggest making the crop and leaving it alone for a few days, then looking at it again without the preconceptions of the point of shooting.

For me the first needs a chunk chopped off the bottom to get rid of that untidy path, go for where the sunlit grass on the side enters the frame try it square
