Re: Wire remote shutter release

It works but also uses up battery power in the camera too though & why a cable is still a good option, so long as it works as intended.

Re: Wireless remote control

You have followed the instructions in the Manual on page 61, have you? It's the Drive Mode with Remote selection at either '0' seconds or '2' seconds you need. Also, I assume you are not trying to...

Re: What is so wrong with red trousers?

I think I need to break out the Glenfiddich to help me get over the treatment dished out to those innocent scouts. Wouldn't it be '*****' if one of them saw the updated image of...

Re: Problems with shutter control

That would at least confirm whether the 2nd switch part of the shutter button works or not.

Also, will the shutter button work in MF & in Manual mode? That should bypass any other setting that...

Re: What is so wrong with red trousers?

Horrified at what you all did to those innocent Aussie Scouts or that they were in kilts?

And I could understand his 'horror' of those parading in the Lindsay tartan too.

Re: No MFT 2x TC

Yes, that extra pin is in a much different location to that on the MC14, so the MC14 is only compatible with the Olympus lenses, 40-150 Pro & 300 Pro & the DMW-TC20 is only compatible with suitable...

Re: What is so wrong with red trousers?

I don't play the bagpipes, but I bought a cheap set & tried setting it up & admire those that do play (except when they start up next to the fiddlers tent). *yes

Re: Staying on - sensitive shutter?

It's quite possible that the shutter button is being pressed which would keep the camera alive (awake) & using up you battery, so maybe the bag is not a good fit perhaps.

Re: Battery BLS-50 vs. BLS - 5

The BLS50 is really only an improved update with slightly more capacity of the BLS5 (from 1150mAh to 1210mAh) & is charged in the same charger, so it is best to buy the BLS50.

Re: What is so wrong with red trousers?

Yes, that kilt was given to me but I had remade the Stuart of Bute kilt first & later a Farquharson one which I wear safely at events without getting in trouble with the tartan police. ;)

Re: What is so wrong with red trousers?

I don't think I ever had red trousers (except perhaps in my very early teens) but I did have & wear puce-coloured corduroys with large flairs & cuffs that sat down almost to floor over my 'red'...

Re: Back Button Focussing

I have the AEL/AFL button set for AF when I have selected MF (in camera, not lens) so it then becomes that "back button AF" but in actual fact I rarely use it for that. Both the E-M1's have MF...
