I can see some nice purplish colours amongst the greys. Not a bird I have ever been close too. Well worth the trip out.

Re: OM-D EM-5 Up to scratch for youtubing?
Just to help a bit more, I hope. This was a simple video using the em5 for a few of the B-roll shots and with the interview shot with a fixed camera position onto tape. It was a very busy working...

Re: OM-D EM-5 Up to scratch for youtubing?
I used my em5 just as a second camera to give cutaways and alternative fill shots when shooting videos as a freelance video production company for the NHS a few years ago. I was using a Sony video...

Re: Sigma 150-600 mm adapted for MFT???

Re: Sigma 150-600 mm adapted for MFT???
And just to help a bit more I have taken shots in better weather and have a small album on Flickr.
This is with a budget lens which is OK on the Canon 70D but seems to work better with contrast...

I should be able to answer most of your questions. I don't use the Sigma, so will tell you, and show you what I have used.
Firstly adapted lenses work well on the metabones adaptor. I cannot tell...

Re: Little Grebe in the Sunshine
Very nice. The low sunshine helps to pick out all of the details and gives it a wonderful colour. I usually see them from a hide at full telephoto, so I know what you mean! :)

Re: Communal Bird Photography Thread
Ron never seen the underwing on a curlew before. Really bright, jazzy and makes the image. Always seen them as dull before, nice to see the reality. (and agree with Mark - the Harrier is OK too ;)

An example is 6K photo mode. A bit like Olympus's...
