Hi glad you got sorted. They must have changed their stance, guessing I wasnít the only person to complain a few years ago. Having said that, touch wood my camera has been fault free.

I had the very same issue with my Em1 MK1 a couple of years back, they were giving an additional 6 months free so I rang within that period and could not purchase an extended warranty as it needed to...

Ross I couldnít tell you which version im running other than the last time i updated was when silent shutter, anti shock and hi res were introduced. As the saying goes if its not broken......

From the Olympus website the only other feature I can see is as follows

"Operation error while shooting at slow shutter speed in firmware version 4.5 has been corrected"

Slightly different point of view is the second hand market value roughly the same price as HDEW re the MK2? If so any form of warranty offered by HDEW surely would be better than no warranty assuming...

Fair point we have big issues with fly tipping locally, mainly on quiet footpaths next to fields, very frustrating and has massive financial implications. Dont see too much here on private land.

My sentiments exactly. There is a serous inabalence/disparity as a whole, for less offences. TBH it stretches beyond the Police as the laws have not evolved covering travelers occupying land/sites...

Usually but isnt this one fairly straight forward

Burglar gets stabbed during course of said burglary (no charges brought against occupant). Circumstances of stabbing not fully understood.
