I liked 'dung life'. It says it all... the nicest of our UK stink and dung lovers is the Purple Emperor. I have lots of shots of him sitting on poop. They like...

Re: Communal Dragonfly, Butterfly and Insect photo thread

I look forward to seeing what they are as I am reasonably confidant that Morphos are a family of 40-50 varieties of just South American rainforest butterflies.

Re: Communal Dragonfly, Butterfly and Insect photo thread

Lucky you, I would have been over the moon. All the escapees around Stratford on Avon are great too. Something about seeing them outside which is worth ten times as much as inside. :):)

Have done my fair share of chasing and...

Re: Communal Dragonfly, Butterfly and Insect photo thread

The large one is an Atlas Moth, one of the largest moths in the world, and quite often found in butterfly houses, but natively from the forests of Asia. And although large they have no mouths and so...

Re: Official: I am an Otter Spotter

Mark

Lovely to see some real, wild activity shots. And interesting activity too. All of mine have been captive animals. Any wild otters I have seen have been at distance and pictures are just a...

Was the ideal weather for this in the garden yesterday. Icy and sunny. I was trying for the pheasants but spotted a robin.

Re: Sigma 150-600 mm adapted for MFT???
