Re: EM10 Mk 2 upgrade

I think you'd do better offering it privately. Try listing it here. I might need interested if it's black and in good condition.

Re: EM10 Mk 2 upgrade

Do you have the E-M10 or E-M10ii currently? 250 is a bit light for the mk ii and too high for the original.

Re: EM10 Mk 2 upgrade

Seriously...

- For street photography then E-M10ii is probably better. The tilt-only screen means that shooting unnoticed from the hip is simple and easy. Doing the same with an E-M5ii is harder...

Deer o deer

I took the 300 to Charlecote Park today to find a few deer. Lots about thankfully, which is more than can be said for the light. It was sunny all morning but clouded over just as I was arriving. ...

Re: New Canon G1X mkiii

I watched a review of this recently. It does indeed look an interesting compact camera. The Panasonic LX100 is a similar beast and in fact I bought one a few months ago. But, I'm not gelling with...

Re: Great Spotted Woodpecker

Thanks for info. I looked them up on the RSPB website and was surprised to find that there are only about 140,000 breeding pairs in the UK. That's really not a very large number so I guess I am...

Re: Bridal Brochure Photography

You're too gracious Michael. You post your images and you take the time and trouble to explain how you achieved them. If someone's mastery of photography is such that they know it all already then...

Re: Bridal Brochure Photography

I see Pistnbroke's manners haven't improved much. Why be so openly critical?

At least Michael posts his images, together with informative info on how he achieved the lighting. Still not seen a...

Re: 17mm f1.2

I tried the Panasonic 15/1.7 recently (well, actually it was the DJI variant). It's certainly better in the resolution department than the 17/1.8 and it does have more micro-contrast. However, the...

Re: 17mm f1.2

The 17/1.2 definitely looks an interesting lens. The various reports on the 45/1.2 seem to be absolutely glowing - with many saying it's the best portrait lens they've ever used on any system.

Re: E-P5 Questions.

Make sure you upgrade that firmware to the latest. There was an important addition of EFCS that fixes shutter shock problems.

Re: OI Share - raw+JPG surprise

Hmmmm, odd. That's not my experience. I use the app a lot for remote shutter and I only ever shoot raw. Never seen unwanted JPEGs.
