7,5mm to 600mm = 80x optical zoom (with bit of intervention)

The 1.7A version of the AC-1 will not deliver enough current for the E-M5. The latest EXPRO AC-1 is rated at 2.5A and is close enough to the 3A rating of the official Olympus AC-3. The AC-5 is a 5A...

Can't think of a reason it wouldn't work.... I put mine behind some extension tubes and the 60mm Macro lens - which worked surprisingly well!

Hmmm,

Given its shown at 250mm and there's no hint of an extension of the lens - it presumably is an internal zoom mechanism, then it's not "that" much longer than the Panny at 400 - its a fair...

The highly respected Zuiko 350 F/2.8 was/is white. One of the photos displays the new lens alongside with the Pana 100-400.

Well, it's been announced now and it is F4.5 :(

What's surprising is its WHITE. Available in 2020!

The 2X teleconverter will be available summer 2019 though and is compatible with the 300mm...

I use that combo a lot DavidB for birding I have my camera set to turn off /standby after 60 seconds then as I see a bird I jab the shutter button as i'm bringing it up to my eye the batterie last...

We haven't been this year, in previous years I've not had problems getting good images with a 40-150 lens. You get the heavy tripod, camo and white bazooka lens Canikon shooters there too.
