I use Panasonic bodies so wondered how the 12-35 would perform...

Re: Noise issues

I do wonder if the light was just too low and noise especially in the shadows is unavoidable.
Any attempt to lift details only accentuates the noise, had a similar issue myself last weekend

Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8

Still keeping getting the itch to try one of these against my 12-40mm
Sold a few bits lately so seems like a good time to scratch that itch before the cash gets spent on Eurostar fares.

Got one...

Re: Adobe LR - no more updates - options?

Just remembered I had Photo Ninja many years ago, lost it when my PC crashed and forgot all about it.
Found I can pay $59 to upgrade to the latest version and that includes updates for a year as...

Re: No Oly cameras or lenses

Not that bothered about the aesthetics, to me its the places I take the photos that matters.
For example everyone goes on about the Pen F, personally prefer the more functional Panasonic equivalent....

Re: Advice on lenses

I had a 9-18mm, didn't like it at all.
Not sharp enough at the edges and wasn't keen on the feel or operation of it.

Agree with Mike above when he says 12mm is sufficient, another reason I sold...

Re: Advice on lenses

Well I just bought a Panasonic 12-35 f/2.8 because I want to compare it with the 12-40.
As I use Panasonic bodies hoping it might work well with the dual is plus its lighter.
Already have the...

Re: No Oly cameras or lenses

No more or less than using a mobile phone that has a camera.
Photography is taking photos, what device is used doesn't matter.

Re: Why are people returning to the E!?

Because one or two people start saying how great they are and others join in.
Not sure if they agree or even like using them, but its trendy to be retro and cool.

In reality most of these items...

Re: Printing

Sorry, I haven't got a clue
Not cheap because the cartridges are expensive, but its a hobby so don't really think about it in monetary terms

Re: Do we actually need HS2?

The remnants of the Maglev testing track can still just about be found in the Fens of Cambridgeshire. Went looking for them myself, found a few bits, but not much left to see.
