Re: Anyone recommend a skin type case for an EM1 mk1?

Thanks Tim they look interesting but no Oly ones. They are sort of what she wanted but she doesn't need it to have through button functionality just to be a wrap round case that is easily removable...

A little bit of light painting

First time I've tried this and thanks to the guys at the Beaurepaire Camera Club in Belper I was able to have a go last night. It was great fun, will definitely have to have a go at making some gear...

Anyone recommend a skin type case for an EM1 mk1?

My daughter wants a minimalist skin type case for her EM1 mk1 and I was wondering if anyone had tried any out. She's tried the Olympus version but it's too small with the 14-140 lens she uses.

3, 2, 1 or none at all?

A bit of a speculative punt this but which do people prefer 3, 2, or 1 or it just doesn't work at all?

Re: Bempton Memories

Ah that's how you got so close, I thought it might be something like that. I'm the worlds worst sailor so don't think that's a trip for me unfortunately. I'll just have to get a longer lens :D

Re: Write protect on OM-D E-M1 Mark ii

I had retired it but was resurrecting it to use for some music files in the car. I just couldn't delete any of the old images off it to make space. Decided if it was going to have issues I'd just get...

Re: Write protect on OM-D E-M1 Mark ii

I got this on one of my old cards a while ago. I'd be interested in a fix.

Re: Panasonic 100-400

Keith are you sure an Oly version is coming out? I thought Olympus and Panasonic had an agreement not to directly copy each others lenses.

Re: Does picture mode 3 (Vivid) improve AF?

Interesting comment. I've no idea if it has any effect to be honest but shooting raw+jpg I do always have vivid mode set for my jpgs. Just because that's how I like them. It gives me a nice bright...

Re: Fountain of youth?

Not sure that's a very good advert for a fountain of youth! although I guess that's your point with the title :) Nice shot btw.

Re: Dainty Swallowtail (BIF)

Excellent shots Mark. You did well to get 10% that were usable. Butterflies are my favourite target for my 40-150. I think it's pretty much the best lens for the job.

Re: Hard to Swallow (SIF)

Must try that shooting from the hip #2 is a cracker. Maybe just shutting my eyes would help too! :)
That last sequence is great too, presumably well cropped and really high iso. I think I'd have hit...
