Had a wander over to the Olympics stand, but didn't think too many, on here would be pleased to see me.
No point making anyone feel uncomfortable, know some of my views are not over popular

Re: 'MY' perfect strap.

Watch out if you ever use the mini QD loops, any rough edges can make them fray.

Re: 'MY' perfect strap.

Optech have been my strap of choice for a good few years.
Many different interchangeable configurations, all comfortable and reliable too

Re: Panasonic G VARIO 12-32mm f3.5-5.6 ASPH Mega O.I.S Lens, Black.

How about just Panasonic 12-32mm for sale

It's just a bog standard kit lens for sale, not a Faberge Egg

Re: Panasonic G VARIO 12-32mm f3.5-5.6 ASPH Mega O.I.S Lens, Black.

Can we be clear here, I know nothing of or harbour any ill will towards the OP.
I remembered being part of the original thread where this lens was discussed after being purchased.
Therefore I was...

Re: ISO is Fake - Seriously

Shouldn't ISO be a standardised unit?
Can see problems for those who need it to be such as metering in a studio type setting.

Not much of a problem for the likes of myself who uses it in a less...

Re: BNIB, Panasonic G VARIO 12-32mm f3.5-5.6 ASPH Mega O.I.S Lens, Black.

Your site and ultimately you make the final decisions, but I still maintain Dave should remove BNIB from the title.
That way the description is self explanatory, but the header certainly does not...

Re: BNIB, Panasonic G VARIO 12-32mm f3.5-5.6 ASPH Mega O.I.S Lens, Black.

Sorry to disagree, but no its not new or BNIB, why can't it just be called used?
Nobody here would happily buy something described as new to find out it wasn't.
I fully accept i'm not everyone's...

Re: BNIB, Panasonic G VARIO 12-32mm f3.5-5.6 ASPH Mega O.I.S Lens, Black.

Sorry, but no its not new, how can it be if you have used it?
That's not nitpicking just stating the obvious, it's a secondhand lens so why not advertise it as such.
Not sure what the out of...

I distinctly remember you saying that you liked it and first shots looked promising.

Re: Streaming music

I always buy the CD, think it goes back to buying albums, spent many hours in Our Price.
Just got some new speakers to use with the pc, maybe slight overkill. ...

Re: Millennial Snowflake Burnout?

Not at all, just fed up with all youngsters being branded as useless.
Usually by miserable old sods who display similar traits, but won't admit it
How about they have to keep getting the latest...

Re: Photography Show - fast path tickets?

Sounds like the O2 priority thing for gigs at their venues.
Just show the O2 pass on your phone and you get to use the priority queue.
Last used it at the Brixton Academy at a sold out gig to see...

Re: Sad, if true

Panasonic jpegs are good now, they made that a priority in the very latest cameras. Colours are very natural and accurate, also have a new b&w setting which comes out well.

Olympus 12-40mm f/2.8 Lens Cap

Just spent half hour taking apart and reassembling my 12-40 lens cap.
One side lost its springiness and the cap kept falling off.
Couldn't for the life of me think how a spring could get out so...

Re: Panny 12-32mm, bargain at Bristol Cameras.

Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 would do the job, bit smaller and lighter than the Olympus 12-40mm
I still think the Panasonic 14-45 is a decent bet, depends what you want from a lens.

Personally...

Re: Panny 12-32mm, bargain at Bristol Cameras.

It was the zoom action I disliked the most on mine, just didn't like this lens at all.

Re: I blame Snaarman....

That 5th photo looks very much like a good old Telephone Exchange.
Many of these buildings wouldn't have looked out of place in Soviet controlled countries.
