I suspect it was an accidental press of the shutter button, especially if the HLD-9 grip was attached & enabled, as that can easily be pressed with the side of the hand.

My trick is to use my iPhone as a trigger. It has a mode in the simple interface to ‘half press’ the shutter button, so provided it’s a case we can use a tripod pointing to a fixed...

really good pics of examples of pro cap, i have taken flies flying and dragonflies in flight with this feature although i dont use oly lenses.if they get the tracking and focus capture better...
