Re: Idea for a comp.

Very valid point. Surely any image uploaded to a forum falls under the same umbrella? However in the interests of civil litigation a rules page should be attached to the thread. Out of curiousity...

Re: Idea for a comp.

I think the main advantage of this type of competition is that everyone no matter how experienced will gain something, think there needs to be some form of pro forma bullet points covering settings...

Re: Carsington sunset

Even better shot without a filter :-) Im yet to update mine. The 0.6 seemed most effective. never really found a use for the others unless you stack them of course.

Re: Has the 12-100 replaced your 12-40 / 12-35?

I love my 12-40 and have not considered changing, as it compliments my 40-150 perfectly, also fits into a small holster. Appreciate the additional stabilisation on the 12-100 though.

Re: New lenses coming

Re pricing wonder if the new additions will reflect a similar ratio to the current range, i.e the 45mm being about 56% cheaper than the 17mm and 25 mm sat in the middle 19% cheaper.

17mm - 1300...

Re: Lightroom as we know it is now Lightroom Classic CC

Mine seems to run quicker with the GPU accelerator option selected, when loading/editing pictures at 4k since the update. Early days but feels smoother even on my Quad core system.
