Re: Olympus E-P5 unused

I'm glad you got your 255 (plus postage) and would've had it myself if I didn't already have my e-pL7.
Quality camera.

Re: Telephoto lens for E410....help.....

Fiferbill : the e-410 was my favourite camera, but mine died.
I found the 70-300 not so great on that camera because it often requires a too high ISO to maintain a fast enough shutterspeed. (I use...

Re: Ditching Beacon Inversion - Different take

The oblong yellow thing on the stile bugs me.
I'd clone it out or desaturate it.

Re: Australia's New F-35A Stike Fighters

I was about to exclaim how similar to F-18s they looked ... 'cos I have no idea (among many) what the 35s were supposed to look like.
;)

Good photos though!

Re: OV3 Update

These days programmes seem so slow, that had they been running on our University machines back in the olden days I'd expect them to take a week to process one RAW.
It is as if optimisation and...

Re: Trump Hacked Off

Despite that I feel he is the first POTUS for many years that has the potential to stop the USA from bombing the world.
All they ever seem to do is bomb folks ... hopefully less from now on.

Re: New a new laptop

Best laptop I got from the talkPhotography forums : the crucial thing for me was screen size. I think it is 17".

Our friend uses her mac laptop all the time and I can barely read text on that tiny...

Re: E-PL1 viewfinder

For general use the VF-2 is excellent on the e-pL1, and good for some eyes for manual focus.
I assumed the VF-4 only worked on an e-pL1 body after a firmware update, but George here says it works...

Re: Black and White - Is digital up to it?

I know nothing about printing but I assume specialist B&W printers exist and sell in small quantities which'll make them expensive.
Wander the streets looking for good prints and enquire who printed...

Re: Do you want a second chance?

My passport just expired.
It is a disappointingly small flimsy passport but I like the colour.
My first passport was sturdy, large and blue.

I shall hang around and see if we get BRITISH...

Re: Some interesting rumours

I'd like the features/behaviour and colours of my e-P2 in an A7.

Re: Dual Card Slot Anyone ?

If I was a wedding pro I would like dual-SD-Card slots in the E-M1 and E-M5MkII (which I don't own) as the flagship bodies.
All other bodies seem suited to single card slots.
I think dual-slot is a...
