Re: Loupedeck

No idea ! Maybe Ian's review will tell us more. So far, from the video, it seems like it's just an alternative to using on screen sliders and adjustments in processing software by replacing them...

Re: ISO 3200 from Kodak

Steve, you're correct, it is just the usual legal cookie and privacy notice most sites display since the EU Thingamie. For some reason, they've chosen to spread a few sentences over most of the page....

Re: The reality is that the e-group needs your help

Seems like a good deal if that's the case. It's a pity more companies don't do the same with their updated products. Will you be publishing your review in DPNow Ian or providing a link when you've...

Re: The reality is that the e-group needs your help

Phil, I wouldn't worry too much about fake news, we are all rather used to it now. That's excepting Mr Trump who still seems to get upset when he thinks it's occurred :)

The plus version is no...

Re: GTech vacuum cleaners

Maybe it has something to do with the new restrictions imposed by the Idiots in the EU making the maximum allowed wattage now 900w. I still prefer 900w of mains power to anything a battery can...

Re: Are you purchasing anything through Amazon?

Looks a much better posher version than mine but I'm not sure the dog would be so impressed. She walks round with my mouse firmly clamped in her jaws until I either force her mouth open or trade a...

Re: GTech vacuum cleaners

I used my SDS Drill mainly for breaking up brick and concrete with a spade chisel attached. Just the weight of the drill and the hammer action on the chisel is like using a small Kango ( the big 2...

Re: The reality is that the e-group needs your help

It is still a very interesting video Phil even if it has been replaced by an updated Plus version. I had no idea such a gadget was available. Thank you for taking the time to post it here.

Re: Are you purchasing anything through Amazon?

I've had a basic Logitech Wireless mouse for over 7 years now. It's been eaten by the dog numerous times, stuck together with Super glue, still works fine and the single AA battery lasts well over...

Re: Phone unlocking

You may find it is only the O2 network in the Irish Republic that is owned by Three. O2 in the UK is still owned by Telefónica after it's purchase attempt by Three was blocked by the UK Government.

Re: GTech vacuum cleaners

Yeah, Black & Decker brought their battery powered Dustbuster out in 1979. It was only for cleaning up small spills etc. I'm surprised to see it's updated version is still available.

Vacuums like...

Re: GTech vacuum cleaners

You might be surprised. I have 3 drills, 2 general purpose hammer drills and an SDS, all mains powered and used virtually every week before I retired.

We have recently had extensive fencing...

Re: Phone unlocking

I doubt very much whether UK phone companies understand the concept of Customer Service or if it's even part of their vocabulary :D

Re: GTech vacuum cleaners

Totally agree Nigel. No battery powered device will ever be a efficient as a mains powered one. Gtech seem to have 22v batteries with a 4 hour charge time, probably about as strong as a good battery...

Re: Phone unlocking

I have a close relative who can never remember which company provides his mobile service. He uses PAYG and is adamant that, as he hardly uses his phone, he only does a £10 top-up 2 or 3 times a year....
