Lightbulb Re: Trail camera recommendation...

The "Browning Recon Force Extreme" gets good reviews.

Re: Yellow wall comes out grey?

AWB was described by Damien Demolder (Former Editor of AP) as "the invention of Satan"...

As I do most of my work in the studio, I have a CWB set at 5600K and view this in much the same way...

Lightbulb Re: Control epiphany!

First of all the best way to get consistent results is with a flash meter, but that will require you work in Manual Mode and to decide what exposure you want on the subject and then set the guns to...

Re: Samyang 500mm f/8 mirror

I have had good results from a Sigma 600mm f/8 Mirror, but you will need a very steady hand or a good tripod.

Taken on a...

Re: God's Own Junk Yard

Having worked with a lot of people, my approach is to "suggest" a scenario that gets them to present themselves in a way that I want them to look... ;)

Re: God's Own Junk Yard

It was one of the Olympus Image Space events:

Hosted by Gavin Hoey and the Olympus Team. Cameras are not normally permitted in there, so a great opportunity.

Re: MC-14 + Panasonic 100-300mm

The MC-14 is designed to work with the 40-150 & 300 PRO lenses. I don't think it will fit the 100-300.

Re: 18-150 ll Purple Fringing Why?

Any 10X zoom is a design compromise, so with a backlit subject and using the lens at the widest end of its range is pushing the limits of its capability.

You have also used a fast shutter speed,...

Re: Options available?

As soon as you say you don't want weight, there really is only the 300mm f/4

However there are some that have used the very long Sigma lens, but that too is heavy.

Re: Green cast on interior stonework

Whenever I perceive a green cast, I consider it likely to have come from fluorescent lights. I tend to have my camera set to 6500K (for the studio) so will often have to correct the RAW file. I...
