I have the same problem, but with my Pen F! I have to check the exposure compensation wheel and front dial each time I pull it out of my bag to make sure they haven't got shifted from their desired...

I save RAW & JPG, as the RAW file covers the whole of the image as seen by the sensor while the JPG is cropped to my chosen ratio. Then if my my aim is slightly off, I can recompose from the RAW...

The 12-100 is significantly bigger and heavier though, (as of course would be a 12-40 & 40-150!)

I see this lens as a stretched 14-150 lens... probably with a similar performance as it is not...

I've also put it down to poor contacts between the lens and camera body. Removing the lens and replacing it can help.

What is printed on the front of the lens itself (around the glass). If it says 'M.Zuiko' it should fit your E-M5 II. But if it just says 'Zuiko' then it is the older 4/3 lens which needs an adapter....
