Nice picture. As you mentioned the lens needs stopping down fo F8 or smaller (at least when venturing in the long end of the zoom range).

Cadwell Park "British Superbike Championship"

The C-AF works fine, I have written a FAQ about this on fourthirds user and here.

Main points:

Turn C-AF Lock to 'OFF'

IS OFF

Use Manual Exposure.
