Re: Adobe LR CC

I used to use only PS and ACR, but I got a nasty shock when I got my first m4/3 camera, an E-P1, in about 2009. The files from my E5 were *.ORF and opened OK in ACR. The files from the E-P1 were...

Re: Adobe LR CC

Thanks very much for those alternatives.

However, after careful consideration, I decided that LR 2019 is OK, apart that is from my gripe about lens profiles, which is not really serious. My...

My normal workflow is to shoot RAW and copy the files off the card into the PC using the import function in LR, converting them to DNG at the same time.

Mostly I am shooting images...

Re: Adobe LR CC

Paul,

My Olympus 12-40, 14-150 II, 75-300, 17 f1.8, and 60 mm Macro lenses show...

I remain bemused at the various changes that Adobe makes to this software, most of which are beyond my comprehension.

The latest relates to lens profiles. When I click on "Profile", down comes a...

Re: How does one do Smartphone?

I did some exploratory phone shop browsing today.

Re: How does one do Smartphone?

What I am minded to do is to buy a new phone sim free and for any network.

Until I have a few months usage, I will have no idea what my usage will be, so I want a classic PAYG arrangement where I...

Re: How does one do Smartphone?

Tram,

Thanks for that, I can get to an O2 shop in the next couple of days, and with your help, I will now be able to ask them some intelligent questions. . .

Re: How does one do Smartphone?

Thanks everyone for the many useful replies.

To my basic question, about whether I can buy a new phone, fit it with a data Sim and start using it, gets an only slightly qualified yes, so I thank...

Re: Adobe CC updates

David,

I followed through with those videos, and after much head scratching, I am now able to print from Lightroom.

Once you learn how to do it, it does give much more control over the finished...

Re: Adobe CC updates

I principle, I can print from Lightroom, but the interface is difficult, so far my attempts to print a 6"x 4" gloss print has only produced the image on A4 paper divided into four separate sheets.

Hi John,

I am interested to know about the "Photoshop printing screw up" you mention. I moved up to LR and PS 2019, a while ago and both worked without problems. Last week I decided my old...

Re: The reality is that the e-group needs your help

When I got into my Paypal account with the email address that Ian sent me, I had the same problem. Then, as Otto said, I just started typing, and in it went.

Ever educational this forum!
