Re: C-AF - tight/loose

I agree - for the starkest demonstration, try following a duck paddling between fairly sparse reeds using CAF and single point (or 5 or 9), first at -2 and then at +2.

At the former setting it...

Re: C-AF - tight/loose

I haven't yet tried...

Re: C-AF - tight/loose

Fair enough: on the other hand, before it would hang on 'tight' to the subject, which is what I'd got used to.

I guess either would have done had they explained it better beforehand, in which case...

Re: C-AF - tight/loose

It did change: I find tight and loose helpful brief descriptors and more meaningful than +\- (plus or minus what?). Others disagree, I know.

About half way down this page thereís a helpful table:...

Re: BLN-1 Replacement

Originals are listed on camerapricebuster, which might be a help.

I used white ExPro compatibles for years and was never convinced they lasted any shorter than originals, and you can use the Oly...

Re: New Licence anyone...??

Yes, of course, I was just pointing out that the current situation is wildly unacceptable, but we have become accustomed to it. Self guided vehicles need time to prove themselves because the...

Re: New Licence anyone...??

Yes, especially the 10-year-old-Vauxhall-Nova driving, baseball cap on backwards brigade!

Also, driverless cars will communicate with each other and be able to take avoiding action in advance.

Re: C-AF - tight/loose

Yes, I agree it definitely also works on CAF without tracking.

ĎTightí is really useful when youíre (say) following ducks swimming between sparse reeds, and it helps hang on to the bird rather...

Re: New Licence anyone...??

Just as a benchmark, around 100 people are killed per day on American roads by or in drivered vehicles. We don’t hear very much about them on the front page of U.K. newspapers, do we?

Iíve never heard it cause particular problems in Olympus cameras, although I think it may speed up the process a little of you do remove them, but itís very strongly recommended for the Sony A7...

Re: F1.2 pro glass

It is very much down to the intended purpose of your images, and the image quality necessary for that.

For a pro portrait photographer whose images might need to fill billboards and A0 posters,...
