Re: Goldfinches with my MC-14

Take a look at either a Manfrotto BeFree or a Vanguard 235 Ron, they are both small, light and easy to carry in one hand.

If you tend to stand in one place for long, I'd recommend fitting a Jobu...

Excellent set of images Andrew.

Very detailed for such a small creature, were these stacked images taken with the 60mm?

Chaffinch in flight shots.

Whilst waiting for Crested Tits to appear, I took the opportunity to practice photographing small birds in flight, they are a challenge.

All images taken with E-M1 II and 300mm Pro.

Re: Great Spotted Woodpecker

Thanks for the looks and comments.

Sadly, the GSW wasn't tame, he didn't stay still for long either.

No ladders used, the angle was good though.

Thanks for the compliment re fieldcraft...

I've had my MC-14 since the 40-150mm Pro was introduced and my wife has had hers for around two years, both have been used a lot and neither has had a...
